At the end of 2016, new recreational and educational attractions for family were officially opened in Lagoi Bay. Lagoi Bay Lantern Park is the name of this new attraction. Dozens of unique lantern with large-sized animals shape, such as elephants, rhinos, dragons and sea animals with colorful light, light up the night around the garden.
Since it established in 2015, the tourist area of Lagoi Bay Bintan is growing and keep developing. Lagoi Bay which has a total area of 1,300 hectares was developed to complement the resorts facilities in Bintan Resorts, Lagoi.

As a tourist area which is now open for public, Lagoi Bay became one of the favorite destinations in Bintan nowadays.
Lagoi Bay Lantern Park is located near the shore of Lagoi Bay, precisely behind the Yeah Mart (map available below).
Colorful light in Lagoi Bay Lantern Park
Colorful light by dozens of lanterns in Lagoi Bay Lantern Park shining more beautiful when the afternoon fall and the sun begins to set on the western horizon. It is even better when the night comes. Aside of those glowing lanterns, there is also tunnels which glowing beautiful color, combination of blue and purple which become the most favorite spot for the guests.
Lagoi Bay Lantern Park is indeed a very interesting place to take pictures. Great lantern designs with colorful light make the atmosphere more alive in the park. Not only amused by those lantern and glowing lights, in this park we also can teach our children to learn about animals.
Beside each lantern, there is an information boards that provide information about portrayed animal on the lantern. Some of them are endangered animals like komodo dragons, elephants, rhinoceros and orang-utan.
Operating hours and entrance fees
Lagoi Bay Lantern Park is open daily from 5 pm until 10 pm for Monday to Friday. As for Saturday, Sunday and holidays, this attraction is open from 2 pm until 11 pm.
For Indonesian ID card holder will be charge entrance fee of Rp 25,000, – for adults and Rp 15,000 for children aged 3-12 years. While for public, admission fee is Rp 50.000.
Every purchase of a ticket, visitors will also get a shopping voucher at Yeah Mart for Rp 5000.
